As of Oct. 2, 2026, about $1.1B in IEEPA tariff refunds was on hold because importers hadn't added bank details in CBP's ACE Portal. Use this 7-point checklist to see if any of yours are stuck.

01You know who the importer of record (IOR) is on your entries (you, or your supplier under DDP terms)
02You have ACE Portal access, or know who does
03Refund bank (ACH) details are set up in the ACE Portal
04You know which entries are unliquidated or liquidated within the last 80 days
05Your customs broker has confirmed which refund phase covers your entries
06No open protests, drawback claims or reconciliation entries are blocking a refund
07You've confirmed no one is charging you a fee to file (CBP charges none)
